How to withdraw funds from Kucoin.

Kucoin is a global cryptocurrency exchange program that eases the process of buying, selling and storing your cryptocurrencies. Let’s learn How to withdraw funds from Kucoin in a few simple steps.

Despite it starting in 2017 Kucoin has grown to be among the most popular exchange platforms listing hundreds of crypto pairs. The platform has its own currency known as Kucoin Shares (KCS).

The platform’s growth can be attributed to a number of reasons. The reasons include having numerous types of accounts, spot trading, margin trade, pool x and many more.

Sadly Kucoin is not directly linked to bank accounts therefore you will need to use a web3 wallet when withdrawing. The platform supports Coinbase, Kraken, Gemini, Binance and a few other web3 wallets.

To withdraw your funds follow the steps below:

1 Open Kucoin and log in to your account. Head to your account overview and select “Main account”

2 Head to “Withdraw” which is in the top menu.

3 Select the token/coin you wish to withdraw

  • While selecting a coin, make sure the coin is supported by the destination you wish to withdraw to.
  • Also, make sure the money is in the main account and not in the trading account
  • In addition to that, ensure the amount you have is enough to cater for the transaction and withdrawal.

4 Afterward, complete the 2-factor authentication process

5 Lastly run through all the details you’ve entered to ensure that the funds will not go to the wrong wallet and submit your request.

You then will have to wait approximately 30-40 minutes for the transaction to be completed. However, the larger the amount you withdraw, the longer it takes for the transaction to be completed.
